Guide to Buying
How to buy at auction - Salvage
You can find a large variety of damaged cars, motorcycles, trucks, machinery and caravans available to buy online every week through our national salvage auctions.
In addition to these online auctions, many Manheim locations offer drivable salvage vehicles through in lane auctions on a regular basis. New auction catalogues are available online each week and the premium salvage vehicles are available to be viewed in person at Manheim operating locations. Check our locations page for viewing days and times.

Buying at auction doesn’t need to be daunting. Just follow these steps:

Login to Simulcast, our online auction portal, via the website or the Manheim Simulcast app. Then select the appropriate auction and start bidding.
If you are successful, you will receive your invoice via email, this is confirmation that you have won your item and payment is required.
Payment
You must pay the deposit immediately after the auction. The balance of your invoice must be paid by the next business day after the auction.
Collection
You can collect your vehicle once you have paid in full and the funds have cleared. You must arrange collection of your vehicle by 4pm the business day after auction, otherwise late fees will apply.
